ABOUT PEOPLE & CULTURE AT ROCKET LAB:

Rocket Lab’s People & Culture team is responsible for looking after our most valuable asset: our people. Across our global teams, the People & Culture team supports our people and departments across recruitment, new staff orientation, compensation, training and development. They make sure our growing and diverse global team is supported and capable of delivering our projects and customer’s missions, and they’re responsible for supporting their development, nurturing their skills and talent, and retaining the world-class people already on our team.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

The People & Culture Advisor provides support and advice to people leaders and employees on a range of people and culture related matters, including but not limited to policy and procedure compliance, employment relationship problems, performance management, talent management, organisational development, legal advice and salary advice. They also assist with projects and P&C events as needed.

This is an on-site role, based in Mount Wellington, Auckland.


YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a HR role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent qualification
  • Actively looking to build a career in HR
  • Experience running ER processes
  • Strong, demonstrated computer experience working with MS Office (especially Excel), and the ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work at a fast pace
  • Organised and proactive
  • Cheerful and approachable
  • Remains calm under pressure

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Customer service experience (e.g. contact centre, hospitality, retail)
  • Experience in production / manufacturing industry
